Frequently asked questions
- How much does it cost?
- The app is free to download. A report costs AED 500, or AED 800 for both move-in and move-out. The credits you buy don’t expire, so you can buy your move-in and move-out reports together on day one.
- How long does it take?
- With the Pramana Tenancy app, you should be able to cover most apartments in under 30 minutes. Larger villas may take a little longer.
- Do I need an inspector?
- No. Pramana is built so landlords, tenants and agents can do it themselves on their phone, and the app guides you room by room. If you’d rather someone came out and did it for you, we can put you in touch with our wider network of inspectors. However, this will come at an additional cost.
- What if the landlord or tenant isn’t there?
- The person who carries out the inspection must sign the report. Anyone else present can sign on the day, and the report is shared with everyone involved. The report states: “Where digital signatures were not captured at the time of inspection, this report is deemed accepted by all parties if no written objection is received within 7 days of delivery by email or instant messaging. It will then be treated as an accurate record of the property’s condition on the inspection date.”
- Is the report in Arabic?
- Yes. Reports are bilingual, in English and Arabic.
- Is a condition report required by law?
- No law requires one. But if a deposit is disputed, a clear, signed record of the property’s condition is what the conversation usually comes down to. Read more
- Does it work outside Dubai?
- Yes. Pramana works for rentals across all seven emirates.
- Does it work without a signal?
- Yes, for the inspection itself. You can walk the property, take photos and collect signatures without a connection. You’ll need to be back online to finish and share the report.
- We’re an agency or property management company. Does it replace our CRM?
